Test automation engineer

We are looking for a test automation engineer to be working closely with the developers in an agile team. You will be driving the test automation, security testing, performance testing and test management and be the one responsible for ensuring quality in the project. Tasks: - Write automated tests for backend and frontend - Choose the best and most accurate tools for the project (use existing or recommend new tools). - Work closely with a development team to produce robust test cases and scenarios - Providing visibility on test results and system coverage - Conduct test automation reviews - Analyze test results, perform root-cause analysis, and recommend improvements to enhance product quality. Requirements: - Experience of automated end to end test suites implementation, deployment and orchestrating. Test case definition, test coverage planning, risk-based testing, exploratory testing. - Experience of API testing, web application testing, vulnerability testing, non-functional testing and integration testing in a cloud environment. - Full professional proficiency in written and oral English. Expert knowledge or familiarity of the following tools: - Jira - Confluence - Docker - Cucumber - Gherkin Language - Zephyr - Git / GitHub Actions - Playwright, Appium - Postman/Insomnia - MongoDB, MySQL - Basic knowledge of AWS technologies Allocation: 100% Start date: 2.2.2026 End date: 30.6.2026 Location: Helsinki area / remote Please send your candidate CV’s by Tuesday 23.12. to sales@reto.fi.
